Tamil
Tamil is a two year post graduation course that is taken up by students who wish to make a career in teaching line. Students who wish to teach this language may seek this course and become Tamil teachers in reputed schools and colleges of India. The basic eligibility required by students who wish to pursue B.Ed in Tamil language is that they must have completed graduation from any stream with decent marks.
English
English is an undergraduate Education course. This course is a two years program which equips the teacher trainees with the latest knowledge and skills in the field of English Language Teaching (ELT). B.Ed. (English) degree study teaches a person about various aspects associated with teaching and aims to provide global perspectives to the professional aspects of ELT. Mathematics
Mathematics can be opted by any student who has taken mathematics as a main subject in his or her graduation. The students must have acquired a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in their graduation level. They must also have passed one of the many entrance examinations conducted for B. Ed course.
